My journey into portrait photography began with a pencil, not a camera. Back in high school, I was drawn to capturing the subtle details of a person’s expression through hand-drawn portraits. That early passion for faces and emotion naturally evolved as life moved forward—especially when I became a dad. With two daughters deeply involved in cheer and dance, photography became both a creative outlet and a way to stay fully present in their world. I found myself on the sidelines capturing hundreds of images at every event, driven by a desire to freeze those fast, emotional moments in beautiful, lasting ways. As my daughters approached their senior years, I realized this blend of technical skill, artistic eye, and love for storytelling had grown into something special. Friends and fellow parents encouraged me to take it further, and that’s when I officially launched my photography business—over a decade ago. Today, I bring that same heartfelt approach and creative energy to every senior portrait session I shoot.
